Audio Samples from the Album

My latest album, Restless Soul, was captured live March 2026 at The Firing Room in Bend Oregon. Leaning into imperfect analog tape saturation and intentional, imperfect human expression. I will be releasing the record in phases on streaming platforms, and on vinyl, tape, and CD—directly from me.

This album came from me sitting with, and understanding my grief over the past decade; Feeling through loss, uncertainty, panic and depression. Observing my own experiences, and moments of clarity with compassion, acceptance and steadiness has always been easier with music- and as I worked through the viscous and often elusive energy of grieving, songwriting sat at the heart of it all. On reflection, a decade of grieving became multi-faceted, reflecting how my inner world evolved through experiences of divorce, death, delusions, mental health fluctuations, and my shifting identity. The songs speak in a non-linear voice to a linear experience, which reflects how I experienced these seasons of change. I suspect that grief works through phases, moving from stages of shock, anger, denial, acceptance and then to bargaining easily and fluidly, revisiting each as often as it needs. In everything I learned “it”, being grief, starts to find a voice, and identity of its own. In the songs I found myself developing a relationship with my grief. Through observing I found I met it, and through revisiting the songs I could better sit with it, and accept it as a part of me. When I initially wrote each song I was apprehensive, maybe even afraid of what the song revealed- but, the songs through the years have become more friendly, and I’ve discovered my “grief” has a gentle voice, it speaks softly to my most vulnerable places if I have the courage to listen. I hope this journey of mine speaks to yours, and in listening that you also can find a healing way forward.

Past Releases

Welcome to my living room.

June was written, recorded, produced and released as a raw demo in 2015. Fueled by whiskey and cigarettes, recorded in a 400 square foot apartment room, raw and unpolished; reflecting how I felt, and the music. The songs all looked at grief and loss musically, expressed in ways I couldn't tolerate in other forms of feeling. Simply put, its a divorce album in many parts. First from the idea of loving someone, second from the idea of loving your identity in relation to that idea. It is a place reflecting on those losses; learning to appreciate the depth of how a relationship to darkness sometimes feels more honest than ignorant happiness.
